Activity 6 · Get unstuck

Mind Mapping

Stuck usually means “out of ideas.” A mind map fixes that fast: free-associate around a word until surprising combinations appear — one of them might be your next thing to try.

How to draw it

  1. Click the center circle and type your topic — a word that engages or energizes you.
  2. Press Space to branch — a new circle sprouts, ready for the next word.
  3. Press Enter to add another circle beside the current one (same level).
  4. Click any circle to jump back and keep going. Backspace on an empty circle removes it.

Work fast and don't judge — weird associations are the good ones. On a phone? Use the buttons under the map.

Your mind map

Tip: click the center circle to start typing.

Combine into concepts

Pick three words from the outer edge that spark something, and mash them into a possible role, project, or adventure. The stranger the better.
