Activity 2 · Build a compass

Your Compass

A compass has two needles: a Workview (what work is for) and a Lifeview (what life is for). Answer a handful of short questions and they'll assemble into a statement in your own words — a reference point you can hold any big decision up against.

How it works

Each question below is a fill-in-the-blank. Finish the sentence honestly — a few words or a few lines, whatever comes. As you type, your answers stitch together into a living statement at the bottom of each section. Aim for honest, not perfect.

A tip: write about why, not what. Not “I want to be a nurse,” but “work matters to me because…”.

1 · Your Workview

Why you work — finish each sentence.

✦ Your Workview, in your words

2 · Your Lifeview

Why we're here — finish each sentence.

✦ Your Lifeview, in your words

3 · Read them together

A good compass is coherent — your work and life views point roughly the same way.
